Harper Nielsen is another victim of Australia’s communist left. The nine year old is currently enjoying the spotlight after repeatedly refusing to stand for the Australian national anthem as requested by her primary school. After being placed on detention the incident came to the attention of the mainstream media.
The 4th grade student has been quoted on various websites as saying, “When it says ‘we are young’ it completely disregards the Indigenous Australians who were here before us for over 50,000 years.” Further the righteous brat added, “When it was originally written, Advance Australia Fair meant advance the white people of Australia.”
After doing a little extended reading and research it was to my complete shock and horror that I discovered little Harps was the daughter of not one, but two of Queensland’s respected university academia. Her father is Mark Nielsen, from the school of Psychology at University of Queensland. Obviously well versed in mind control and indoctrination. He’s done a right job on the kid. Meanwhile, mother Yvette Miller is an Associate Professor of Public Health (what is that?) at Queensland University of Technology. In case you had forgotten, QUT was at the centre of a racial discrimination case that exposed the university’s implementation of an indigenous only computer lab. It’s hard to imagine the Professor of Public Health as one who supports traditional Australian values, and much easier to imagine her being involved in the communist movement seeking to depose of the once united nation we all thrived in an replace it with a socialist utopia. Anyway, Harper is doomed.
None of Harper’s idealistic parents took the time to explain that Australia is actually a young country. Despite the fact that the more than 200 indigenous tribes had been here for many years, the nation of Australia (which actually includes those of indigenous ancestry) was only conceived in 1788 at the arrival of the First Fleet, or if you go by the date of Federation, 1901. Let’s be honest, mum and dad have been busy reinterpreting the meaning of the national anthem and felt Harper was the perfect tool for their experiment.
Far from being a country or an anthem that sought to advance only the white people, Australia, is as close to a truly egalitarian nation as any. In fact it was King George III instructions to Arthur Phillip in 1787 that said:
You are to endeavour by every possible means to open an intercourse with the natives, and to conciliate their affections, enjoining all our subjects to live in amity and kindness with them. And if any of our subjects shall wantonly destroy them, or give them any unnecessary interruption . . . it is our will and pleasure that you do cause such offenders to be brought to punishment according to the degree of the offence. (Hill, D. 1788 The Brutal Truth Of The First Fleet, 2009)
Unsurprisingly Mark Nielsen has spoke of his pride in Harper. “She’s shown incredible bravery in wanting to stick to what she believes in and make a stance for something she believes right . . .” he said. On the bright side, Harper’s school (Kenmore South State School) has shown some fortitude in disciplining the student with lunchtime detentions and with any luck will eventually suspend her.
