Former FBI Director James Comey and John Brennan the former CIA Director are both avowed Commie sympathisers. At least they confess they were in past. But now . . .
John Brennan revealed in a 2016 interview that he had voted for the American Communist Party in 1976 when Gus Hall had ran for President, garnering just 58,709 votes. Brennan was speaking at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (a special interest group promoting African American involvement in US politics), when he told of a 1980 CIA entrance interview question that asked if, “Have you ever worked with a group or for a group dedicated to overthrowing the US?” Brennan was hooked up to a lie detector so felt compelled to confess his previous support for the American Communist Party. “This was back in 1980, and I thought back to a previous election where I voted, and I voted for the Communist Party candidate,” he said.
So we’re expected to believe that Brennan went from voting for the American Communist Party in 1976 to becoming a patriotic American willing to do the dangerous work of the American intelligence department by 1980. Keep in mind that the application process involves extensive research of the applicant so he would have begun his CIA application well before 1980. And exactly when did the Communist sympathiser in Brennan die, and the seed of patriotism actually germinate?
Meanwhile, some investigative types have dug up a 2003 interview where Jim Comey confessed his Commie leanings. In his college years Comey was a a leftist he recalled. But he went on to vote for Republican Ronald Reagan in the 1984 election.
I voted for Reagan—I’d moved from Communist to whatever I am now. I’m not even sure how to characterize myself politically. Maybe at some point, I’ll have to figure it out.”
The article was published in the New Yorker magazine and is linked here. The article was written at the time Comey had begun working as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York in 2003. At that point America was living under Republican leader George W. Bush and the angle of the New Yorker was ‘how far right will Comey be?’
Nevertheless, it’s quite concerning that under the traitor in chief, Barrack Obama the United States had two confirmed Communist sympathisers heading the intelligence organisations. Russia collusion anyone?
