Millionaire Aussie NBA star Ben Simmons has screamed ‘RACISM‘ after being refused entry to Crown Casino in Melbourne, on Monday night. The privileged, race obsessed brat took to social media to claim his victimhood yesterday after casino security staff denied him entry because he refused to show identification.
It’s no surprise to us at Conservative Kookaburra that Simmons quickly deducted that he was the victim of racism. Since becoming a fully fledged NBA first teamer player he has shown all the hallmarks of the cliched privileged bubble boy. In 2017 he joined other celebrities and elitists in slamming Donald Trump. He called the President of the United States a, “dick head” and said, “he’s the wrong person to be in charge,” in the wake of the gridiron players’ failed national anthem protest.
Simmons has also been in the company of other racists whilst in Australia during the NBA off season. He was at the world premiere of the Adam Goodes post truth documentary titled Australian Dream. The NBA millionaire is said to be shopping the film around to a worldwide audience and his own ‘shocking’ experience of racism at Crown Casino conveniently ties in with the film’s #fakenews theme. Stan Grant the aboriginal separatist and former employee of the Communist Chinese government at CCTV and America’s CNN, is producer of the film.
But Simmons, who has likely never had a real job and definitely has no understanding of the security industry has continued to claim he was racially profiled is still attempting to slur the Crown Casino. After initially posting a video to social media (Instagram) outside the Casino entry point saying, “I find it so crazy that the only guy who doesn’t get checked to go into the casino is this guy,” and pointing his mobile phone to photographer friend Alex Subers who is caucasian, Simmons has made more scurrilous claims. On his Twitter account he posted, “. . . my friends and I felt personally singled out. No one likes to feel like this. I am very passionate about equality and I will always speak up even if it means having uncomfortable conversations.”
Crown has since published their own account of the incident stating that the security employee was simply applying standard policy and procedure. Their statement read, “Crown’s internal security policy requires our security officers to check identification of those persons they believe to be under the age of 25, this is an enhanced safeguard to ensure that no one under the age of 18 is permitted entry to the Casino Floor as required by Law.” The casino added that Simmons and his entourage actually ended up showing their identification and were allowed access to the casino.
The privileged first class traveller should remember that how he interprets the world around him is an indicator to the rest of us, how his mind works. Please, drop the racism Ben and try to get your feet back on the ground.
